Cold gases transport & storage

SIAD Macchine Impianti offers a wide range of compressors for the boil-off gas service, covering liquefied gas (methane and ethylene) vapor recovery and storage requirements.  SIAD Macchine Impianti has considerable experience in this field  and can also use its significant expertise regarding the treatment of gases at cryogenic temperatures (up to 170°C).

Furthermore, the air separation units (ASUs) for the production of nitrogen can be used to inject nitrogen for correcting the calorific value of the liquefied natural gas (LNG); in this instance, the coupling of the LNG plant and ASU allows the exchange of frigories, valuable for drastically reducing the ASU’s energy requirement. SIAD Macchine Impianti has filed a specific patent in this application.
